    • You Know it,

      That Squeeze Bottle.

The one on every supermarket shelf. It’s honey with a little chili tossed in, made by the truckload, and gone from your fridge in a week because it’s basically dessert.

Bee Sweet Mild flips the recipe. It starts as a real hot sauce, cooked from scratch in small batches with fresh green jalapeños and garden vegetables, then gets sweetened with honey. You still get that golden drizzle, plus actual flavor underneath it.

      Only 10 calories per serving.

    Bee Sweet Mild FAQs

Real honey with a gentle warmth. Here’s everything you need to know.

Yes, it was made with them in mind. The heat is gentle enough for picky eaters, and the honey makes it an easy yes on chicken nuggets, mac and cheese, and grilled cheese.

One note, because it’s made with real honey, and jalapeno peppers, it’s not for kids under 4 years old..

Not even close. Most hot honey is honey with chili soaked into it. Bee Sweet is a real hot sauce made from peppers and vegetables, then sweetened with honey, so you get more flavor in a lighter sauce.

Drizzle it the same way, it just does more.

Bee Sweet Mild doesn’t lead with the spicy burn. The honey comes first, the pepper flavor follows, and the warmth stays soft from start to finish. It’s the bottle people pick up “just to try” and then keep reaching for.

You bet, Mustard Up Mild is the same heat level, if you want to branch out 1 level up spicier try,  Garlic Verde, Smokin' Chipotle, and Indian Masala.

Brush it on salmon or chicken in the last few minutes of cooking for an easy glaze. Whisk it with olive oil and lemon for a quick salad dressing. Stir it into mustard for a honey mustard dip, or set out a bowl for dunking wings, fries and pizza crusts.

Customers praised this mild hot sauce for its sweet honey flavor and versatility. "Great flavor, best one out of the variety pack," noted one shopper. Most appreciated the no-sodium formula and natural ingredients. While very mild with minimal heat, it's "incredibly tasty" on chicken, pizza, and sandwiches. Some found the consistency thin.

    • No sodium, great flavor, best one out of the variety pack, so we bought six!!
    • Goes with just about anything and is mild with enough of a kick as to still be interesting.
    • Just the right amount of sweet and heat. I have been putting it on everything.

    Mild and sweet

This sauce came very well packaged and with a clear, prominent expiration date. I really appreciate that, and it gives me confidence in the freshness of the sauce. It tastes great. There's more of a sweet flavor and very mild heat, and it is amazing on chicken. It's a little runny in consistency and I do wish it was thicker. Overall, I love the flavor of this sauce with chicken and will continue using it.

Mildly hot, sweet and very tasty!

I always want to enjoy hot honey, but I end up needing to doctor it up with some extra honey on my end so that the heat is mild enough for me to enjoy. That's why I was so happy to see this product for sale. It's exactly as advertised a mild hot sauce version of hot honey. It is a thinner consistency Than your typical hot honey. I very much appreciate that it comes with a separate pour spout lid, that really makes it easy to drizzle onto foods. All of its packaging was quite impressive and thoughtful, which I really appreciate it also. It's a very "Pretty" hot sauce also, if you're looking for something with a bit of a pinkish orange aesthetic. This product does need to be refrigerated after opening. Received in September 2024, with a Best Buy stamp on the underside of March 2027 - great shelf life!

    Sweet "hot" sauce

I found this sauce to be sweet and a bit tangy but not hot at all. It pours out quite watery unlike honey. It doesn't have quite the zest that I would like in a hot sauce, even for a mild one. That said, I like that this is a healthy version with no sodium so my health conscious husband can enjoy a condiment. It goes well with corn on the cob. I'm not sure what else I would use it for.

Sauce is delish, although a bit too runny!

The sauce is delicious. It's a sweet heat flavor combination of honey and hot sauce spices, but it's not the kind of hot that'll burn the mouth. It's the type that can be tasted and enjoyed in generous amounts, from beginning to end. It mixes perfectly with other condiments, like the honey-mustard-hot sauce I made last night(see image). I actually like it better when it's mixed with thicker condiments because the sauce itself is too runny for my liking. It'll actually spread out over the plate instead of staying where I put it, until I stir in something with a heavier texture. Other than that, it's still a nice change of pace at dinnertime, and a recommended addition for any honey heat lovers like me. Thank you.

    Sweet; Still Has a Kick

The bottle arrived well-sealed and secured. The sauce has a semi-thick consistency and we found it pairs well with chicken. It’s very sweet, but it’s still hot sauce and does have a mild kick toward the end. This is a great option for people who can’t handle heat (like me), but also has enough heat to satisfy those who just can’t live without it.

Doesn't taste like much of anything

I've tried other Jersey girl branded hot sauces and I liked them a whole lot! So I was a bit disappointed when this seemed to have little to no flavor. It's not spicy whatsoever, not even "mild", and the only real taste it has is of honey. It literally tastes like I put a few drops of honey on my pizza. It's definitely underwhelming. The bottle was shipped with care at least. It came wrapped in bubble wrap and inside a box, so it arrived with no issues at all. Overall though, I wouldn't recommend this one as there's really nothing to the taste

Tastes great — lighter consistency than other hot honeys

Review of Jersey Girl Bee Sweet (New Mild Heat) Hot Sauce | Gluten-Free, Sodium-Free | 5oz Healthy, No Added SaltI’m a huge fan of hot honey, having first been turned on to Mike’s, then discovering lots of other brands. Even Trader Joe’s sells its own spicy honey.Unlike those others that come out thick, like honey, Jersey Girl is more liquid. You shake it out as you would soy sauce. As such, I sprinkled some drops on some crackers to try the taste on its own. It’s good! Definitely lighter and less sugary than the mostly-honey sauces. Next I added it to some toasted focaccia bread. It blended with the focaccia flavors beautifully!I like the more liquid consistency of Jersey Girl over the other hot honeys. It’s easier to control it, and easier to get a smaller serving with fewer calories. Some of those honeys come out really thick and you’re adding like 200 extra calories to just 1 slice of pizza. Not so with Jersey Girl. It is, however, a milder flavor than the others, and I like that.Earns 5 stars because it’s all natural, tastes great, and has a better consistency and is easier to use than other popular hot honeys.

This is a go-to favorite in my home. Mild enough for the kids and incredibly tasty for snacking tomatoes, eggs, or avocados.

    Good ingredients, nice flavor

Usually I prefer moderate and hotter heats in my sauces so this isn't exactly my top pick but my wife likes a more mild sauce but we both like the flavor. The honey flavor is in the forefront was hints of savory/spice. The heat is very mild, so much so that I can probably drink the bottle if I wanted. I do really love the ingredients and that it isn't loaded with preservatives or sodium.

    Tasty flavor

I’m obsessed. This stuff is so good! I love it in chicken tenders! It’s got a sweet heat but the honey flavor is pretty heavy, which is my favorite with chicken! Definitely going to want to reorder this one when it is gone.

    Delicious mild hot sauce

This hot sauce is great, and is very mild with a bit of sweetness. It goes well with many different types of food, but doesn't have a very prominent flavor profile. It's also a bit watery, but not unlike other hot sauces I've used.

    Sweet heat?

I am trying to reduce sodium intake, and finding sodium free hot sauce is great help for that! As a fan of savory foods, I found it difficult to find the right application for a "sweet heat" or "hot honey" type sauce. But it's pretty good on a lot of things. It's been added to my hot sauce collection selection, and I'll be trying it on lots of things.

    Tastes good, but thinner consistency

I recently discovered that I like hot honey from a different brand. I decided to give this brand a try and I really like it. It has a mildly sweet flavor with a hint of heat, but it’s a much thinner consistency compared to other brands or even plain honey, I found the thinner consistency to be better for applying to foods without overdoing it.It arrived in its own box, wrapped well with a lid on the bottle. It also came with a flip top cap to use too.

    Tasty!

Taste is subjective, of course, but I do think this is a really good hot sauce. It’s not really hot, but it does have a rich flavor and delicious chili sweetness to it.

    Yummy

This Jersey Girl Bee Sweet hot sauce is just the right combination of sweetness, tartness with some heat, but not hot by any stretch. You can modify the spice level for those who want more assertive spice by adding a bit cayenne. The jar is small so I am using it mostly as a topping for warm biscuits, where it shines.

    Must have for chicken burgers!

Hot honey is the new go to at my house for our once a week fried (or BBQ) chicken sandwiches (burgers). The sauce itself has a thinner consistency so we usually toss all of the chicken in the sauce first with a small coating and then everyone can add more as desired. The tangy vinegar base and honey mixture with a tad bit of spice (not overpowering) males the most delicious combination, just wish the bottle was bigger!

    Not a hot sauce

Though you can see pepper flakes in the sauce, it has zero heat. It’s a pourable honey sauce. For that, it tastes quite good.

    Sweet heat

This sauce is incredibly tasty and reminds me of a mild hot honey with more flavors of peppers rather than just being spicy. It comes packaged perfect for shipping and is excellent on sandwiches for that perfect kick of sweet heat.
